BU Hockey Schedule Released

The schedule for 2014-2015 has been released and included 33 games including 3 exhibition games.
 The opener is an exhibition game against St. Thomas, a canadian university, on Saturday 10/4 while the regular season opener is 10/10 at UMass. Other highlights of the schedule include home games against Michigan, Michigan State, Union, Colgate and Notre Dame (x2). The team will also travel to Wisconsin and Dartmouth in addition to it's league opponents. BU will only play 33 regular season games as a result of playing exhibition games against the USA U-18 and USA WJC team. These should both be great contests to watch, exhibition game or not. I would take these two games over playing some crap Atlantic Hockey team at home that has no benefit besides the possibility of losing early in the year with a young team. The USA U-18 game is great for recruiting and the WJC game at Walter Brown will be great besides watching Jack Eichel play against his own teammates.

Fans in the twitter world are already going on complaining but I'd prefer Coach Quinn spending his time recruiting over building the perfect schedule. It is strong enough of out conference to give the team plenty of quality opponents to make the NCAA tournament. 33-0-0 is our official initial prediction.  Vote in our new poll up to the right.
