Z. Cohen scores first point, Bonino makes NHL debut

Former Terrier forward, Zach Cohen, scored his first professional point with Lake Erie Friday night. Cohen picked up an assist on Ray Macias' first period goal which tied the game at 1. Lake Erie went on to lose 3-2 in overtime, but it was a solid opening start for Cohen who wore the number 59. He also had 2 shots on goal and 2 penalty minutes for hooking in the second period.


According to The Terrier Hockey Blog, Brandon Yip(Avalanche) has started skating again while coming back from a shoulder injury.


Former Terrier forward and assistant captain, Nick Bonino, played in his first NHL game Friday night. Bonino recorded a shot on a goal and a penalty for hooking in his debut. Bonino wearing number 63, played center for the Ducks in their 3-2 win.
