Icedogs Bring In Avon Old Farrms Defenseman For 2010 Season

According to The Boston Hockey Blog, Jack Parker has signed another defenseman for the class of 2010 in the wake of Colby Cohen's decision to sign with the Colorado Terriers/Avalanche. Patrick MacGregor is a Gryba-size 6'4", 210-pound right-handed shooter from Hamden, CT whose reported defense-first style might be a welcome relief to Terrier fans who have tired lately of defenseman focusing a little too much on the other team's goal at times. He had 3 goals and 18 assists for the New England Prep School champions Avon Old Farms. The school is also known for producing recent Terrier Nick Bonino and Superfrauds Cam Atkinson, Tommy Atkinson and Pat Mullane. Definitely some peace of mind for the Dog Pound to know that another freshman blueliner will be joining Adam Clendening as he matriculates next fall.
