Terriers Drop A Spot in Polls, Other Odds and Ends

Although we around here were happy with BU's defeat of UNH on Saturday night, I guess the powers in charge of polls weren't quite as excited. BU dropped one spot in this week's USCHO.com poll to #16, after a week that saw the Terriers play 3 close games resulting in 1 win and 2 losses. BC jumped to 2, UNH stayed at 7, Maine dropped to 12 and Merrimack dropped to 14 following this past week's action...

In Hockey East's weekly release, there were numerous Terriers mentioned. In the "Weekly Top Performers" category, Adam Clendening (3 assists, +3), Charlie Coyle (2g, 2a and +2) and Kieran Millan (100 saves) were all named. In the "Who's Hot/Career Firsts" category, Chris Connolly and Garrett Noonan (the former for playing in 100 career games, the latter for scoring his first collegiate goal) get mentioned...

Sticking with Hockey East, HE Online featured Chris Connolly in their most recent "5 Minute Major" interview piece. ChrisCo talked about his origins with hockey, his brother Jack and the reasons he came to BU, amongst other things. For our lazier readers who don't feel like going to find the video, I've embedded it below...

Joe Pereira will be featured in Hockey East's weekly online chat, which will occur tomorrow at 12:30. If you've been saving questions to ask the Senior captain but never garnered the courage to do so in person, here's your chance...
