Terriers Named Hockey East Team of the Week, Move Up in Polls; Colby Cohen is Stirring the Fire

Killing me Colby. Killing me.

After a win and a tie up in Orono this weekend, our Terriers are garnering some recognition for themselves. In the USCHO.com poll, BU moved up two spots to number 14 (surpassing Maine, who dropped three spots to number 15) and improved their Pairwise ranking to 15. The Terriers were also well represented (as always) in Hockey East's weekly release. Kieran Millan was named Co-Defensive Player of the week, an award he shared with Northeastern's standout goalie Chris Rawlings. Alex Chiasson was named in the weekly top performers list (1g, 1a) and Joe Pereira was named in the Who's Hot/Career Milestones list for picking up his first shorthanded goal as a Terrier. In perhaps the most impressive award doled out to the Terriers, they picked up Hockey East team of the week honors. All in all, not a bad couple of days for the Scarlet and White...

Also, the Glass saga continues with our old pal Colby Cohen. CC, you'll remember, had a rocket shot and an attitude to match - and it seems as if the AHL hasn't deprived him of the latter at least. The Boston Hockey Blog has the full story, but basically the gist of it is that Cohen called Glass a liar on twitter and said that Glass is lucky to have not been booted last season. Real classy, Colby. As if this story wasn't burning up in the press to begin with, we needed CC to dump some gasoline on it. Just when I thought we had put this dumb story to bed...
