BU Round-Up

A few things have happened in the last couple of days with BU ranging from the NHL Draft to a brand new conference. You get the drift.

NHL Draft: No current or future BU players were selected in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Kind of weird in my opinion since I honestly do not remember the last time that happened. According to Scott McLaughlin or otherwise known as BIAS SCOTT, a few of the incoming Terriers were drafted last year.

On July 1st, BU officially became part of the Patriots League with fellow newcomer Loyola-Maryland.

A few of the brand new rivals welcomed BU via Twitter.

Also on July 1st, BU and other Hockey East teams welcomed University of Notre Dame to the conference. I honestly can't wait to sweep them in South Bend and maybe see HatTrick Swayze cry.

This past weekend was the Travis Roy's Boston Wiffleball Challenge. You'll hear from Scooby, Parker (wearing stylish wayfarer sunglasses) as well as the man himself, Travis Roy.

Congrats to Kevin Shattenkirk on his brand new contract from the St Louis Blues. He deserves the money and we wish him well.

Former BU goalie Rick Dipiertro was placed on waivers last night initiating the first step in his buyout process. As an Islander fan, I remember him playing really well before the first of his many many injuries. We wish him the best of luck in his next endeavor and not to suck anymore at life.

Finally, former Terrier Steve Greeley is set to become a new assistant coach to Quinn and hockey program. Congrats to him and him only cause the rest of his family seem delusional and out of sorts and need a good kick in the pants as my grandpa used to say.

As Always B.C.S.D.
