The Red Sox were rained out in the middle of the 9th at Fenway last night, as the Sox were headed to their last AB's in a 1-1 tie against the Rays. The Sox lone run came off a Jason Varitek home run - his 3rd of the year. V-tek is now 3 for 7 on the year (that's right, all of his hits have been homers), with a slugging percentage of 1.714. NUTS.
