Odds and Ends

Brandon Yip had a goal (seen below) and an assist in Colorado's OT loss to the San Jose Sharks last night. The Series is now tied 1-1

The Celtics and Bruins both play today, the B's puck drops at 1:00 on NESN, and the Celts tip off at 8:00 on ESPN. Let's hope my predictions hold true...

The US U-18 NTDP hockey team (featuring BU recruits Matt Nieto and Adam Clendening) are currently involved in pool play in the World U-18s Championship. They currently stand at 2-1, suffering an early loss to Sweden but bouncing back to beat the Swiss 5-1 and Canada 5-0. Clendening is currently the leading point getter for the US, with 4 points on 1 goal and 3 assists...

Maybe we should sit Papi out for a couple months and see if he has the same results as Tek...

The AHL season is over for former terriers and current AHL teammates Zach Cohen, Kevin Shattenkirk and Colby Cohen. Cohen totaled 4 points (1 g, 3 a) in 10 games, Shatty had 2 assists in 3 games, and Colby had 1 assist (and a fight) in 3 games...
