Chilean Miners Getting Huge Invites
So I was checking out ESPN today and found that major sporting teams and organized events are offering the Chilean Miners to come to various events to celebrate their liberation from the collapsed mine in Chile. So big-time teams as in Man Utd., Real Madrid, and Barcelona FC are making offers for the miners to come and partake in some events and attend soccer matches. One of the Chilean miners supposedly ran everyday, and " New York City Marathon officials decided to invite him to participate in next month's race." I very happy that they all survived and I think this is what sports is about. The ability to bring people together under the same colors or train of thought and supporting the same idea.
