Wednesday Morning Hockey

NHL.com has a really good article about Coach Parker and his upcoming receiving of a Lester Patrick award. Good for some laughs, and it's always funny to see Parker recycle the "208 sons" line...

Two former Terriers potted goals in the NHL earlier this week - Colin Wilson and John McCarthy. For McCarthy, a Captain on the 08-09 team, it was his first career NHL goal. The link to Wilson's goal is here, and McCarthy's goal is right below...

Terrier freshman forward Yasin Cisse will be out for a long time, according to Coach Parker's postgame interview on Saturday. Inside College Hockey has prepared their yearly rankings of recruits and recruit classes, and BU has a bunch of guys on their lists - including forwards, defenseman, and overall. Definitely worth checking out...

I can't remember if I posted this or not, but BU's own David Warsofsky was recently featured in Hockey East's "5 Minute Major", a re-occurring interview segment they do with various league players. The video is below...

Hockey East also named their top performers from this past weekend in their weekly press release, and there were a few BU names on the list: Alex Chiasson, Charlie Coyle, Ryan Ruikka, Kieran Millan. They also named the BU penalty kill in their "Who's Hot" section...

If you have been looking to get your hands on those sweet Frozen Fenway jerseys ever since last January, then be sure to hit up the BU bookstore to grab one. Personally, I would if I had $115 just lying around...
