It was easy to feel confident in the Lowell matchup in the championship game as goaltending is their weakness and BU does not lose to teams with bad goaltending. They just don't. The only way this team has lost this season is if a goalie stands on his head. No deficit is insurmountable for this group which they have proved again and again(but not recently because they are always leading). It certainly is great to have both banners up in the TD Garden again.
The Terriers will face Yale on Friday at 2pm in Manchester, NH. The game will be on ESPNU and tickets are still available. If/when they win, they will play for the right to go to the Frozen Four on Saturday at 5:30pm on ESPN2. We will have a full regional preview tomorrow or Friday but here is one fun fact for you: BU's first powerplay unit(Erod, Eichel, O'Regan, Oksanen, Grzelcyk) have 9 more points than Yale's entire team.
PS: If you need a good laugh, follow BC Hockey News on twitter and watch them use #TrophySeason even though they haven't won any trophies this year unless you want to count the Dartmouth Ledyard Bank Classic Tournament. Celebrating that trophy is like going hunting for the biggest elk in North America and being like "look Mom I killed a mouse!".
