Former Terrier defenseman and crowd-favorite, Eric Gryba, scored his first professional goal for the Binghamton Senators last Wednesday night. He also picked up his professional penalty at 17:25 into the third for roughing. This is only the beginning of the scoring for soon-to-be Norris Trophy contender.
This leads into tonight's game where Gryba started a scuffle between Binghamton and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre with a fantastic hit on a Scranton player. Former Terrier teemmate, Brian Strait, was out on the ice for this scuffle that started with the clean hit by Gryba. Hopefully this is only the beginning for the big-time hitter from Sasketewan.
