Our BU Terriers beat #17Notre Dame today 5-4 with a late Sean Escobedo goal to win the Ice Breaker Invitational. Grant (Rollie) Rollheiser made 30 saves and recovered to have a good third period after looking shaky throughout the first two. Freshman Sahir Gill had four points(1 g , 3 assists) to lead the Terriers while Junior defenseman David Warsofsky had three points(1g, 2 assists) in the victory. This is the first of hopefully 6 championships for the Terriers this season(Beanpot, HE regular season, HE tournament, National Chamionship, and New Year tournament in Indianapolis). Joe Pereira also added a goal for the Terriers as he continues his quest to lead this team by example. BU resumes play Saturday at 7 against UMASS in their HE opener at Agganis Arena.
