Our Terriers mens ice hockey team moved up one spot this week in the polls from 16 to 15. This means very little as the only poll that matters is the Pairwise rankings and they have BU at a t-12 right now. The top 15 from the pairwise usually make the tournament along with the winner of the Atlantic Hockey conference because it is the NFC West of NCAA hockey. The rest of the top 20 looks like this:
1. Yale -Stay number one despite a tough 3-2 loss at Brown sunday night.
2. North Dakota-
3. Newton University- Stay in the top five but seem human once again after getting romped 4-1 at Maine where goalie John Muse was pulled after giving up four goals in less than two periods of work.
4. Denver
5. Minnesota-Duluth-Slowly climbing their way back up the polls after falling pretty hard from #1.
6. Michigan
7. New Hampshire- drop from 4 to 7 after a tough loss to Dartmouth Saturday night.
8. Notre Dame
9. Wisconsin
10. Maine
11. Miami
12. Union
13. Merrimack- Gives BU all the incentive in the world to go beat Merrihack on their ice Tuesday night.
14. RPI
15.BU- have a huge week that could cause them to drop out of the polls or climb back into the top ten in them
16. Nebraska-Omaha
17. Western Michigan
18. Dartmouth
19. Alaska
20. Princeton
