BU moves up to #12 in new USCHO poll

The BU Terriers moved up one spot from 13 to 12 in the USCHO.com poll this week coming off their sweep of UMass this past weekend. The Terriers prepare to take on #5 North Dakota this weekend as the team will travel to Grand Forks,ND for a pair of non-conference games. Here is my take on the rest of the polls.

1. BC(38)- Still overrated but you aren't going to get bumped out of #1 when you sweep another ranked team like Lowell
2. Minnesota(3)- Struggled last weekend. Tied the US U18 team in an exhibition and the struggled to a 1-0 win over Cansius on Saturday night
3. Denver(6)- The Pioneers are still undefeated and look they will be one of the teams to beat out west.
4. Miami
5. UND- North Dakota is coming off a 3 point weekend against Alaska Anchorage at home.

6. Cornell- They start off their season with 2 convincing wins over Colorado College. Andy Iles and the Big Red are for real this year.
7. Notre Dame
8. Michigan- Very skilled but inconsistent as they split their weekend series with Miami
9. UNH- One of the few undefeated teams left. Played a couple of barn burners with NU over the weekend
10. Union(1)- They suck. How does anyone vote for them to be the best team?! Whenever they play anyone outside of the EZAC or Atlantic Hockey, they lose.
11. Western Michigan- Sticking my frozen four prediction for the Broncos
12. BU- Best team in the country by April. The freshmen are making improvements each game. If they sure up the defensive game and get the 3rd and 4th lines scoring some goals...watch out
13. Harvard- Seem to be another ECAC team that is the real deal this year. They have only played Bentley though
14. Lowell-struggling out of the gate but a tough schedule has not helped. Still see them getting home ice by the end of the year and being a bubble NCAA team.
15. Northeastern- They have played 4 games against UNH and BC thus far and have held their own. Vinny still sucks though
16. St. Lawrence
17.Minnesota-Duluth
18. St. Cloud State
19. Ferris St.
20. Northern Michigan

Other receiving votes: PC,Holy Cross
